Jessica Chew shares the story of Red Bluff's Chinatown during the Gold Rush era, once the last stop for steamboats traveling up the Sacramento River. Through genealogy research, Jessica tracked down living descendants of these early Chinese immigrant families, who generously shared their family histories — stories that ultimately made the book Images of America: Chinese in Tehama County possible.
